A belt made out of Chainmail

Using my current belt as a template (for sizing and general design), the belt will be made out of Euro 4-in-1, horizontally aligned for smoothness. Rings will be Stainless Steel, 18ga, 3/16" ID.

The rings, when not under tension (ie. the "extra" beyond the buckle), have a tendency to collapse under their own weight looking "crumpled". Solution: loop the extra around a loop and back through the HP "Holder" - This keeps up the tension and avoids "dangly bits". Colour can also be an issue, as silver does not demarcate as clearly on lighter coloured clothing as black does. It is very shiny, and looks good on darker clothing (less good on khaki) I may want to add another half-row for lying-flat purposes.
